TABLE-Uganda s 3- And 15-year Treasury Bond Yields Rise At Sale

KAMPALA, May 16 (Reuters) - Yields on Ugandan Treasury bonds climbed at auction on Wednesday where a total of 220 billion shillings ($59.30 million) worth of debt was on offer. The weighted average yield on the three-year bond inched up to 11.862 percent from 11.251 percent at its last sale on March 21, Bank of Uganda said. The rate on the 15-year bond also rose to 14.975 percent from 14.432 percent fetched at the last auction on Feb. 21. Following are the results of the auction: THREE-YEAR, FIXED COUPON BOND COUPON: 16.500 Percent OFFERED: 100.00 billion shillings TENDERED BIDS: 66.65 billion shillings ACCEPTED BIDS: 66.65 billion shillings YIELD TO MATURITY: 11.862 percent BID TO COVER RATIO: 0.666 percent REDEMPTION DATE: May. 13, 2021.
